For the twin-cylinder Ducati of Borgo Panigale our R & D department has developed, besides our suspensions for replacing the original equipment, one XXF rear shock properly studied and developed for racing use in the track.

The main difference between this racing version and the already presented D0038XXF31V2 is the spring preload adjustment: on this D0038XXF61 the preload is adjustable with the millimetric manual ring and not with the compact hydraulic preload. 

Another important feature is the length: the adjustment range is up to -10 mm to the OEM shock length, so to meet the specific needs of racing set-ups according to the particular configurations due to combining several variables of the rear (type of tyre and keying diameter, length and pivot fork, suspension link). Like all XXF shock, also D0038XXF61 is made on the specific weight of the rider, and thanks to the much wider range of hydraulic adjustments, allows you to configure the best set-up according to the conditions of use and to the geometric made choices.

 Please note also that XXF has the dual adjustment in Compression (high and low speed), unlike the original mono which offers the single adjustment.
