For the new and revolutionary twin-cylinder Ducati of Borgo Panigale our R & D department has developed dedicated products: XXF rear shock, ECH fork cartridge kit and steering damper kit with original mounting.

D0038 XXF31 V2 rear mono shock

The original mono shock has the hydraulic adjustment of compression and extension electrically operated, limiting in the sporty usage, and even more in case of use in racing, especially if agonistic. The adjustment range is limited and "predetermined", and does not allow a perfect set-up with the varying of multiple parameters for the sporty/racing usage: type of tires fitted, track wet / dry, choices of geometry and weight of the pilot on board.

Instead, XXF shock is made on the specific weight of the rider, and thanks to the much wider range of hydraulic adjustments, allows you to configure the best set-up according to the prevailing conditions of use, on track for maximum performance, but also on road, for the pleasure of sporty riding on top of a motorcycle perfectly adapted to your riding preferences.

Please note also that XXF has the dual adjustment in Compression (high and low speed), unlike the original mono which offers the single adjustment, and obviously offers the length adjustment and the hydraulic spring preload with the "compact " system, which integrates well with the particular placement of the shock on the chassis of the bike.

For the fork cartridge the same considerations are valid​​: we miss to adjust the hydraulic system with an electric actuator that drives the register with a touch of button, but you gain in precision and amplitude of adjustments of the set-up, adapting to the driving conditions on roads and on the track. And, above all, mounting the ECH cartridge you obtain a pressurized fork (FPS patent), with the yield performance of a fork to be used in the SBK.
Particularly in the agonistic use: the ECH cartridge is designed to offer the possibility to change the springs in a very short time, without even removing the fork from the bike. This is very important in order to vary the set-up in case of suddenly adverse weather conditions.

The steering damper body is proposed in Red and Black colors, adjustable in 18 clicks, thanks to its pressurized coaxial chamber (patented) it is the lightest steering damper in the world, provided with specific connections for mounting in the same position as the original unit.
